Architecture students in the second semester designed abstract architectural drawings and from them three-dimensional bodies to form a continuous, geometric landscape as an assignment in the course “Design with Media”. In the course, the 130 participants learn the basics of CAD design, digital production (3D printing, laser cutting) and architectural visualisation. The exercises are accompanied by a series of lectures in which concepts, tools and methods of computational design and its diverse references to the history of architecture are discussed.
