Roger Winkler studied architecture at the Technical University Darmstadt. He graduated in 2020 with a free master's thesis entitled "Creative Crowd". In his thesis he explored and critically examined the potential of crowdsourcing using a web-based configurator.

Roger has been active as a student tutor in teaching and research at the Digital Design Unit since 2016. In addition to his earlier apprenticeship as an architectural draftsman, he gained practical experience at the Berlin architectural office L-A-V-A and as a working student at the Urban Index Institute in Darmstadt.
