This lecture presents projects that venture into the fields of health, cultural heritage, and ecology. All projects have been undertaken through research and teaching in the Australian context at The University of Melbourne. Rochus Hinkel sees his practice as part of an expanded field of architecture, driven by cross-disciplinary collaboration and digital design and fabrication technologies.

The lecture will be held in German and is relevant for students and practitioners from architecture, design, and cultural heritage.

Dr Rochus Hinkel is Associate Professor at The University of Melbourne, Australia since 2020 and Co-Director of the Advanced Digital Design and Fabrication (ADD+F) research hub at the Melbourne School of Design.
