Norwina Wölfel is a research assistant at the Department of Digital Design (DDU) with a focus on digital reconstruction and virtual reality. She studied architecture at the Department 15 of the TU Darmstadt from 2011 to 2017. There, she led the research project "Frankfurt Book Fair for All" at the Urban Health Games department of Dr.-Ing. Martin Knöll from 2017 to 2019 with the goal of breaking down barriers at the Frankfurt Book Fair. Since 2018 she expanded the research focus of digital reconstruction with the technology of virtual reality together with Dr.-Ing. Marc Grellert. Potentials and challenges of virtual reality as a mediation medium of lost architecture in a museum context is also the focus of her dissertation.
