Oliver Tessmann to lecture at digitalBau

The lecture presents modular constructions and their assembly and disassembly through robots. Dry-joined elements unfold load-bearing capacity through interlocking. With the help of tactile sensing and machine learning, robots are to assemble and disassemble the construction elements autonomously in order to reduce material consumption and avoid waste in the construction.
