Bastian Wibranek is Tenure Track Professor at UTSA

DDU congratulates Bastian Wibranek, former DDU research associate for the appointment as Tenure Track Professor for Digital Design and Fabrication at The University of Texas at San Antonio -UTSA College of Architecture, Construction and Planning ! In July 2021 Bastian defended his doctoral thesis with the title: Robotic Digital Reassembly: “Towards physical editing of dry joined architectural aggregations” conducted at the DDU from 2015 until 2021. Within this time he significantly contributed to the teaching and research activities of the DDU, Technische Universität Darmstadt including projects such as: Luminale exhibition 2016 and 2018, Digital Rubble, Design for Reassembly, Tactile Robotic Assembly etc.
