Tim Schumann is a research associate at the Digital Design Unit (DDU). His current research focuses on modular building systems and generative design. He studied architecture and building technology at Delft University of Technology, the University of Melbourne, and RWTH Aachen. In 2023, he completed his master's degree at the TU Delft Genesis Lab with the thesis "Encoding Building Products." After completing his studies, he worked at digitales bauen – Part of Drees & Sommer, where he was involved in a wide range of projects in research and industry as a computational designer.
